RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF PEOPLE'S COMMISSARS OF THE KYRGYZ SSR "ON THE OPENING OF THE KYRGYZ BRANCH OF THE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF THE USSR"
Frunze, March 17, 1940.
The Council of People's Commissars of the Kyrgyz SSR and the Central Committee of the Communist Party (B) of Kyrgyzstan resolve:
1. To request the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR to allow the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR to organize the Kyrgyz Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in the first half of 1940, based on the Committee of Sciences under the Council of People's Commissars of the Kyrgyz SSR and its scientific institutions, to determine the structure of the branch and staff it with personnel.
2. To transfer the allocations of the Committee of Sciences under the Council of People's Commissars of the Kyrgyz SSR for the 1940 budget to the Kyrgyz Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.
3. To provide for the placement of the Kyrgyz Branch of the Academy of Sciences the building of the collective farm technical school (dormitory) and to instruct the Frunze City Executive Committee to reserve 4 apartments in the new building under construction on Atbashinskaya Street for the employees of the Kyrgyz Branch of the Academy of Sciences, sent by the Academy of Sciences of the USSR to the city of Frunze.
4. To allocate 3 personal salaries for the Kyrgyz Branch of the Academy of Sciences.

RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF PEOPLE'S COMMISSARS OF THE KYRGYZ SSR "ON THE ALLOCATION OF THE DENTAL SCHOOL AS A SEPARATE MEDICAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION"
Frunze, May 20, 1940.
The Council of People's Commissars resolves: In order to improve the training of dentists, to instruct the People's Commissariat of Health of the Kyrgyz SSR:
1. To separate the dental school from the Frunze Combined Secondary Medical School into an independent medical educational institution based on the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute, effective from July 1 of this year, after the completion of the current academic year 1939/40.
2. To provide the dental school with the educational institution of the paramedic school, which is nearing completion, and to also accommodate the departments of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute within it.
3. To allocate funds for the maintenance of the dental school from the budgetary allocations of the Frunze Combined Secondary Medical School, while simultaneously providing it with the necessary educational and economic equipment.
4. To allocate housing for non-local students of the dental school in the dormitory of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.
