RESOLUTION OF THE BUREAU OF THE FRUNZE CITY COMMITTEE OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY (BOLSHEVIKS) OF KYRGYZSTAN "ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF KOMSOMOL LAKE"
Frunze, May 13, 1946
In order to create conditions for the development of water sports, recreation for youth and workers of the city in the Karagach Grove at Komsomol Lake, the Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Kyrgyzstan resolves:
1. To consider the construction of Komsomol Lake in Karagach Grove as a Komsomol-youth construction project.
2. To create a city headquarters for operational management of the construction consisting of:
Abdurashitov - Secretary of the City Committee of the Komsomol (Chairman) Members:
1. Deputy Secretary of the City Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) - Kolesnichenko
2. Head of the Military Department of the City Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) - Maximov
3. Deputy Chairman of the City Executive Committee - Oleinikov
4. Head of the City Communal Services - Muzafarov
5. Engineers of the Ministry of Water Management, Head of the City Education Department - Nizaev
6. Secretary of the Sverdlovsk District Committee of the Komsomol - Glazova
3. To appoint Comrade Muzafarov as the Chief of Construction for Komsomol Lake.
4. To obligate the City Committee of the Komsomol to begin the cleaning of the lake starting from May 15, 1946, with the participation of 400 Komsomol members, and to complete all cleaning work by June 1, 1946.
5. To obligate the Regional Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Kyrgyzstan to provide practical assistance to the Regional Committee of the Leninist Young Communist League in organizing the participation of Komsomol members and youth in the construction of Komsomol Lake. To create district headquarters for management and approve them at the Bureau of the Regional Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Kyrgyzstan.
