President Sadyr Japarov inaugurated the "Kara-Kul" Hydroelectric Power Station worth $25 million

The hydroelectric power station is located in the lower reaches of the Kara-Suu River, where it connects with the Naryn River, in the city of Kara-Kul, and has two hydro units with a total capacity of 18 MW. The average annual energy production will be 104 million kWh, which will reduce the electricity deficit in the country by 2.5% and improve the reliability of energy supply for Kara-Kul and the Toktogul cascade of hydropower plants.
