Wisdom of the Elders

Curse

A little boy heard the word "curse" from the adults and immediately ran to ask his grandfather about it.
- Grandpa, what is a curse? Does it always come true?

The grandfather replied in a quiet voice:
- No, my son, only three curses always come true: the curse of one's parents, the curse of a beggar or a helpless person, and the curse of a widow or an orphan.

Three Cases
Wisdom of the Elders

The elder and his grandson were passing by a house where a mourning yurt was set up due to a funeral during a long journey. At that moment, the boy remembered something very funny and wanted to laugh, but the elder stopped him just in time:

You cannot laugh when there is a funeral, when the Quran is being read, and when there is a person next to you for whom everything in life is lost.

Wisdom
Wisdom of the Elders

Once upon a time, there was a guy who was known to be very curious, constantly interested in everything and anything, loved to eat well, and grabbed everything in sight. Noticing this guy, the elder gave him some advice:
- Young man, in three cases you must be restrained: if you are spoken to with bad, angry words, you do not always have to respond; if there are many different delicious dishes in front of you, you should not eat everything; and if you know a lot, you should not talk about everything.
