While working in design institutes, A.K. Abduldabekov created individual projects, the most interesting of which are the biological station of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR and the complex of pavilions "Animal Husbandry" at the VDNH of the Kyrgyz SSR. In the latter work, his inclination towards picturesque and sculptural forms, which are more aligned with the nature of plastic arts than architecture, became evident, leading to his transition into the field of urban design.
A.K. Abduldabekov participated in the creation of a number of monumental works in the republic. Under his leadership and direct participation, the ideological and artistic design of the capital was carried out for significant political events such as the 100th anniversary of the founding of the city of Frunze, the XVII Congress of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, the XXVI Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the 60th anniversary of the formation of the USSR and the Kyrgyz SSR, the 40th anniversary of Victory over fascist Germany, the XVIII Congress of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, the XXVII Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, demonstrations, festivals, and other events (1978—1986).
