
Akmatkulov Momunbek Astarkulovich
Painter - monumental artist. Born on April 24, 1952, in the village of Petrovka, Petrovsky District, Kyrgyz SSR. In 1971, he graduated from Frunze Art College, and in 1978 - from the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute, Faculty of Painting. Since 1975, he has participated in republican, all-union, and international exhibitions.
Since 1979, he worked as an artist in the Art Fund of the Kyrgyz SSR. Since 1984, he has been the director of a children's art school. In 1991, he registered a private enterprise "Gallery M".
Since 1986, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Working on monumental works, despite its captivating nature, has never been an end in itself for the artist.
Creative explorations in various forms and genres of visual art help him better understand himself and reveal new possibilities of his talent.
Participant in republican and foreign exhibitions. His works are in museums and private collections both near and far abroad.
