
Asanov Sagyn Asanovich
Painter. Born on July 20, 1930, in the village of Kegety, Chui District, Chui Region. Graduated from the evening studio "Drawing and Painting" at the House of Folk Art. Since 1959, he has been a decorator at the Art Fund of the Kyrgyz SSR,
From 1966 to 1974, S. Asanov received practical lessons from painter Jakulya Kozhakmatov. In 1963, the Art Fund invited S. Asanov to work, where he remained until 1991. In 1970, he practiced with painter S.A. Chuykov.
Since 1957, he has been a participant in Republican exhibitions. The artist's solo exhibitions took place in 1979, 1980, and 1984.
Since 1990, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The artist's works depict picturesque corners of the city and its surroundings, as well as rural landscapes. His works are housed in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev.
