
Asrankulov Aman Borubaevich
Painter. People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on December 24, 1939, in the city of Frunze. In 1964, he graduated from the Frunze Art School and in 1969 - from the Painting Department of the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute.
Since 1971, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
His work is characterized by a programmatic interest in the problems of artistic form. A. Asrankulov addresses serious thematic challenges with the substance of form, striving for its emotional fullness to achieve the figurative integrity of the artwork. He primarily explores the theme of the modern person and even the theme of history in the genre of portraiture.
