Babajanov Sabidjan Kamalovich

Graphic artist. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on February 23, 1941, in the city of Kuldja, China. In 1963, he graduated from the Frunze Art College, and then in 1975, he completed designer courses (Moscow). Since 1998, he has been an academician of the International California Academy of Sciences, Industry, Education, and Arts (USA).

In 1964, he worked as a project artist and designer for the Art Fund of the Kyrgyz SSR.

Since 1986, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

He is a participant in republican and international exhibitions. He works in a variety of techniques and genres. A distinctive feature of his creativity is the use of simple and relatable plots, in which he seeks to reveal the poetic content of the ordinary.

His works are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gaitiev, as well as in museums and private collections in the CIS and abroad.
