
Bolzhurov Erkin Otorbekovich
Photographer. Born on January 6, 1958, in the village of Kyzyl-Suu, Sokuluk District, Chui Region. In 1982, he graduated from the Kyrgyz State Art School named after S.A. Chuykov. From 198K to 2004, he was the head of the photography department at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev.
Since 1998, he has been a member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Kyrgyz Republic, and since 2007, a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Participant in national and international photo exhibitions. Author of photo calendars for the "Soros-Kyrgyzstan" foundation: "Kurak," "Women of the South," "Folk Musical Instruments."
Photographer for the films "Selkinchek," "Beshkempir," "Maymil," and seven social videos directed by Aktan Abdykalykov. Director of photography for the documentary films "Manaschy," "Underground Passage," and four video clips. Photographer for the mobile photo exhibition project "Children of Kyrgyzstan" commissioned by UNICEF. Since 2003, he has been the official photographer of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
