Bulba Ivan Fedorovich
Graphic artist. Born on May 18, 1936, in the village of Strepetovka, Soviet District, North Kazakhstan Region. In 1957, he graduated from the Frunze Art School, and in 1968 - from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute.
He works in book and easel graphics using techniques such as linocut, drawing, and watercolor. He contributed to the development of the publishing industry in the republic, initially as the senior art editor of the "Kyrgyzstan" publishing house (1966-1973), and later as the head of the art design department of the same publishing house (1973-1980). He primarily illustrated works by Kyrgyz writers and poets.
Since 1976, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
In easel graphics, he works from nature, mainly in the landscape genre. He has been awarded Honorary Certificates from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR, an Honorary Certificate from the State Committee for Publishing of the USSR, and two bronze medals from the VDNH of the USSR.
Participant in republican and all-union exhibitions.
