Monumentalist. Painter. Honored Cultural Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on July 26, 1937, in the village of Staro-Yuryevo, Staro-Yuryevsky District, Voronezh Oblast.

In 1953, he graduated from the Frunze Art School, and in 1969 - from the Faculty of Painting of the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture named after I.E. Repin, in the workshop of monumental and decorative painting by A.A. Mylnikov.

Since 1974, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Participant in republican, all-union, and international exhibitions. At the beginning of his creative path, he worked in republican publishing houses as a designer and illustrator of books. Since the 1970s, he has worked in monumental and easel painting. He created decorative paintings in the foyers of cultural houses in various parts of the republic.

He worked on thematic compositions almost without models, achieving imagery, compositional and painterly expressiveness. He also worked in the portrait genre. He particularly excelled in portraits of children, characterized by a bright mood, kindness, and subtle painterliness.
