
Dairbekov Shamil Asanovich
Artist-jeweler. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on July 21, 1946, in the city of Naryn. Studied at the Frunze Construction Technical School (1961-1962) and the Frunze Vocational Technical School (1962-1964). Since 1968, he has been working in the Art Fund of the Kyrgyz SSR. At his initiative, a jewelry workshop was organized, where he actively worked, creating original samples of national jewelry.
Since 1976 - a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Having independently mastered the profession of artist-jeweler, he works in the spirit of folk traditions. He widely uses traditional Kyrgyz jewelry forms and metal processing techniques, often incorporating corals and carnelians into his works.
Participant in republican, all-Union, and international exhibitions. His works are housed in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, as well as in the State Museum of the Peoples of the East (Moscow) and museums in both near and far abroad.
