
Dzhaychibekov Bekbosun Karabekovich
Graphic artist. Theater artist. Born on November 27, 1948, in the village of Korumdu, Tyup District, Issyk-Kul Region. Graduated from the Alma-Ata Art College named after N. V. Gogol, and then from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute.
He has been working in the book publishing, printing, and theatrical arts since 1979. One of the leading artists of children's books. He works as a senior artistic editor at the "Mektep" publishing house, "Kyrgyzstan", and as the chief artist of the "Adabiyat" publishing house. He served as the assistant to the chief artist of the Kyrgyz State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Maldybaev and as the chief artist of the Chui Regional Theater. He was the chief costume designer for the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the epic "Manas" in the city of Talas.
He is the chief artist of the "Sham" publishing house - JSC "Kyrgyzpolygraphkombinat" named after T. Suvanberdiev.
For his artistic design of children's books and school textbooks, he has been repeatedly awarded diplomas and prizes at international and republican competitions "Art of the Book". He participated in the international festival "Bibliobraz" in Moscow in 2007.
He has been awarded a Certificate of Honor from the State Committee for Publishing of the Republic, a Certificate of Honor from the Bishkek City Administration. He has received the badges "Excellence in Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic" and "Excellence in Education of the Kyrgyz Republic". He is an honorary member of the International Association "Rukhaniyat" and one of the authors of the state symbols - the Flag of the Kyrgyz Republic.
