
Dzhumakulov Toktobai Khashimovich
Sculptor. Born in 1956 in the village of Tashtak, Kara-Suu District, Osh Region. In 1978, he graduated from the Frunze Art College, ceramics department, and then in 1992 - from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov.
From 1978 to 1986, he worked in the Osh Artistic Production Workshops. Since 1993, he has been teaching at Osh State University. Since 2000, he has been the head of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts, and since 2002, he has been the head of the Artistic Graphics Department at Osh State University.
Since 1993, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic. He is a participant in republican and international exhibitions and sculptors' symposiums. His works are housed in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev.
