Zhakypov Attokur

Painter. Born on April 12, 1947, in the village of Taygaraev, Jalal-Abad region. In 1977, he graduated from the Frunze Art School. From 1975 to 1982, he worked as a designer in the art workshops of Jalal-Abad. From 1982 to 1984, he was an artist-restorer at the M.V. Frunze Museum. From 1984 to 1994, he worked in the editorial office of the magazine "Kyrchin."

He teaches at the art school of the National Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Central Committee of the Komsomol, a Certificate of Honor from the Union of Journalists of the Kyrgyz Republic. Laureate of the Asanbek Turumbekov Prize.

Since 2000, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic and a participant in republican exhibitions.
