
Iskakova Anara Akmatovna
Applied artist. Born on September 17, 1961, in the village of Kochkor, Naryn region. In 1982, she graduated from the Kyrgyz State Art College named after S.A. Chuykov, and in 1990 - from the Moscow Textile Institute, Faculty of Decorative and Applied Arts.
Awarded the Silver Medal for her diploma project in textiles in 1990, the Gold Diploma for her author's tapestry in 2006, and a Certificate of Honor from the Craftsmen of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2007.
Since 2000, she has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic. Participant in national and international exhibitions.
She has participated in international creative expeditions and biennials. Iskakova's works are in private collections both in the republic and abroad.
