
Kamchibekov Mamat
Sculptor. Born on April 4, 1953, in the village of Orozbekovo, Frunze District, Osh Region. In 1979, he graduated from the Frunze Art School, sculpture department. Since 1979, he has worked as a sculptor in the artistic production workshops of the city of Osh. Since 1996, he has been the chairman of the board of the Osh regional branch of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The artist's creative pursuits manifest not only in decorative-monumental art but also in various genres of easel sculpture. He works with great enthusiasm in small plastic arts, paying special attention to the choice of material and processing.
Since 1989, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Participant in regional, republican, and international exhibitions.
