
Momunkulov Avas Orosulbekovich
Monumental painter. Born on January 2, 1951, in the village of Kaptal-Aryk, Kalinin District.
In 1970, he graduated from the Frunze Art School, and in 1976, he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture named after I.E. Repin, completing his studies in the workshop of Professor I.A. Serebryany. From 1982 to 1984, he was a scholarship holder of the Union of Artists of the USSR. From 1984 to 1989, he served as the chief artist of the Osh Art Fund. He has participated in regional, republican, and nationwide exhibitions. He has been awarded Honorary Certificates of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Since 1983, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
