
Ogobayev Marat Kurmanbekovich
Sculptor. Born on September 10, 1957, in the city of Frunze. In 1978, he graduated from the Frunze Art College.
From 1978 to 1987 - sculptor at the Art Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic. In 1992, he graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov. From 1992 to 1993 - lecturer at the Higher Art College, and since 1993 - lecturer at the Kyrgyz Architectural and Construction Institute.
Since 1997 - member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic. Ogobayev drew lessons from the creative experience of Soviet sculptor masters - teachers at the art institute in Moscow and the achievements of the entire professional art of Kyrgyzstan. The artist created expressive sculptural compositions reflecting the sharply characterized phenomena of Kyrgyz life with its originality and traditions. Participant in national and international exhibitions.
The best works are kept in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev.
