Painter. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on March 1, 1949, in the village of Sheker, Kirov District, Talas Region. In 1973, he graduated from the Frunze Art College and in 1979 from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov.

From 1979 to 1980, he was a teacher at the Kyrgyz State Art College named after S.A. Chuykov, and served as the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs. Since 1994, he has been teaching at the Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport, and Architecture.

Since 1988, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Orozmatov's paintings are remarkable for their thematic breadth, direct connection to contemporary life, and the relevance of the issues raised. In many works, the artist depicts the working man in all his grandeur and significance. He also works in the portrait genre.

Participant in national and international exhibitions.
