Graphic artist. Born in 1928 in Kokshetau, Kazakh SSR. Lived in Kyrgyzstan from 1941 to 1968. From 1943 to 1946, he studied at the Leningrad Secondary Art School at the I.E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture. He studied at the Frunze Art College. In 1963, he graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. He works in book and easel graphics.

Since 1965, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Working not only on the figurative content of illustrations but also on the task of a holistic solution for the entire book ensemble, he illustrated over 50 books. In easel graphics, he works in the techniques of watercolor, drawing, engraving, and lithography. His series of autolithographs based on the novella "Mother's Field" by Ch. Aitmatov (1963) and a series of watercolors "In Kyrgyzstan" (1975) are notable for their significant content and artistic quality, where the artist fully utilized his experience working on Kyrgyz themes and his mastery.
