
Toktoev Stalbek Kudisovich
Graphic artist. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on April 21, 1958, in the village of Ak-Terek, Ton District, Issyk-Kul Region. In 1977, he graduated from the decorative design department of the Frunze Art College, and then in 1983, he graduated from the graphic faculty of the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.L. Surikov.
From 1983 to 1986 - Artistic and Production Workshops of the city of Przhevalsk, artist. Since 1986, he has been working at the Art Fund of the Kyrgyz SSR and teaching at the Kyrgyz State Art College named after S.A. Chuykov.
Since 1988 - member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Toktoev is an artist endowed with the talent of both a painter and a graphic artist. The gift of the artist as a painter is vividly expressed in landscape works and portrait genre. He is a participant in republican, all-union, and international exhibitions and competitions. His works are kept in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev and in private collections in both neighboring and distant countries.
