Tyurin Viktor Stepanovich

(1917-2008)
Painter. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born in 1917 in the village of Rasvo, Belebeyevsky District, Bashkiria.

In 1935, he attended an art studio led by L. Kasatkin.

In 1940, he graduated from the Moscow Art School "In Memory of 1905" and in 1951 - from the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute.

Since 1952, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Tyurin worked as a painter, creating genre and portrait paintings. His heroes are laborers, inextricably linked to the land and the beautiful mountain nature. He participated in republican, all-union, and international exhibitions. The artist's works are housed in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitieva, in museums of the CIS, and in private collections.
