
Usubaliev Talaybek Sadymanovich
Painter, restorer of the highest category, academician. Distinguished employee of the customs service of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on April 23, 1964, in the city of Naryn. In 1987, he graduated from the S.A. Chuykov Kyrgyz State Art College and in 1993 - from the I.E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Faculty of Painting, under the workshop of Professor M.M. Devyatov and E.E. Moiseenko.
Restorer of oil and tempera painting. In 1998, he graduated from the Kyrgyz State University with a degree in "law." From 1987 to 1993, he worked at the State Hermitage Museum (St. Petersburg, Russia).
Since 1990, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and the Kyrgyz Republic.
In 1993, he became the head of the restoration workshops at KGMAI. Since 1995, he has been the chief expert on cultural values at the State Customs Committee. Since 2000, he has been a teacher of painting and restoration at the National Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Since 2001, he has been a member of the Professional Union of Artists of Moscow (Russia).
Participant in republican, all-union, and international exhibitions. His works are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, as well as in private collections in various countries around the world.
Talay Usubaliev is a full member of the Academy of Security, Defense, and Law Enforcement Problems of the Russian Federation (Moscow), a winner of the small grants fund "Tilekke-tirek" of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Kyrgyzstan; author of the design of medals, badges, and commemorative signs of the State Customs Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic. He is the author of the project for the creation of a restoration center at the KNMAI named after G. Aitiev.
Awarded the Gold Order of M. Lomonosov (Moscow), diploma of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (St. Petersburg), diploma of the fourth International Biennale of Contemporary Art (St. Petersburg), Honorary Certificate of the State Customs Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic; Honorary Badge and Honorary Certificate of the KNMAI named after G. Aitiev.
