
Sharshekeiev Arstanbek Murzabekovich
Sculptor. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on September 1, 1951, in the village of Berlik, Apamedin District, Kyrgyz Republic. Graduated from the Moscow Higher Artistic and Industrial School (formerly Stroganov School), specializing in monumental-decorative sculpture. Since 1979, he has been a sculptor at the Artistic Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Since 1986, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Participant in republican, all-Union exhibitions, and international sculpture symposiums.
Sharshekeiev's works are in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gaitiev, in the State Tretyakov Gallery, as well as in private collections abroad.
Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR and a Diploma from the Union of Artists of the USSR.
