
Yamgirchiev Salizhan
Graphic artist. Born on April 23, 1952, in the village of Karatal, Andijan region, Republic of Uzbekistan.
In 1974, he graduated from the Tashkent Theatre and Art Institute. Since 1970, his works have been published in the magazine "Chalkan," the newspaper "Soviet Kyrgyzstan," as well as in central publications "Krokodil," "Komsomolskaya Pravda."
Since 1980, he has been actively working in book graphics. For 20 years, he worked in the publishing houses "Kyrgyzstan," "Adabiyat," and in the State Publishing House as an art editor and chief artist.
He has designed over 300 books, many of which have been awarded diplomas and certificates at various inter-republican exhibitions "Art of the Book."
Participant in international exhibitions of satirical art. Actively engaged in the development of new forms and samples of book products.
