Film director. Born on May 25, 1941, in the city of Frunze in a family of civil servants. After graduating from high school in 1958, he worked at a physical instruments factory. In 1959, he enrolled in the energy faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute. 1961—1962 were years of service in the Soviet Army. He then continued his studies at the Frunze Polytechnic Institute but completed his higher education at the historical faculty of KGU in 1975.

In 1964, he joined the "Kyrgyzfilm" studio as a camera assistant, and a year later became an assistant director. Since 1967, as a second director, he has actively worked on the filming of feature films such as "Ambush" (1969) by G. Bazarov, "Swans Come Here" (1973), "Waterfall" (1973) by Yu. Boretzky, "Smile on the Stone" (1974) by U. Ibragimov, "Red Apple" (1975) by T. Okeeva, "Field of Aysulu" (1976) by U. Ibragimov, "Ulan" (1977) by T. Okeeva, "The Process" (1978) by D. Sodanbek, "Golden Autumn" by T. Okeeva (1980), and the short film "It's Not a Problem" (1968) by A. Vidugiris.

K. Orozaliev also has independently directed documentary films: "Surgeon" (1970), "Worker" (1971), "Wandering Serpentine" (1972), made at the "Kyrgyztelefilm" studio; "Behind the Screen" (1977) — at "Kyrgyzfilm".

Member of the USSR Union of Cinematographers since 1975.
