Abdykalykov Akymbek Abdykalykovich
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. Born in 1957. Graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute with a degree in "Production of Construction Products and Structures."
Completed postgraduate studies at the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
Currently serves as the rector of the Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport, and Architecture.
Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic. Member of the Board of the Presidium of the International Association of Construction Universities of the CIS countries.
Research focus - modeling and optimization of the properties of composite construction materials.
Published more than 100 scientific works, including 4 monographs, a textbook, and regulatory documents. Supervised the preparation of 6 candidates and 1 doctor of sciences. Holds 15 patents for inventions.
Awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz SSR (1992), Honorary Diploma of the Kyrgyz Republic (2002), and titles such as "Excellence in Public Education of the Kyrgyz Republic" (1995), "Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic" (2007), "Best Rector of Asia" (2007).
Recipient of the Gold Medal from the International Fund for Science and Culture of Mustafa Kemal (2007).
