
Aymukhametova Mariya-Gulsym Buranovna
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honored Inventor of the Kyrgyz SSR, Honored Figure of Science of the Kyrgyz SSR, Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Born in 1919. From 1938 to 1941, she studied at Lomonosov Moscow State University, and in 1945 she graduated remotely from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute.
A research scientist who created a new class of anti-tumor, immunostimulating compounds, as well as compounds that possess growth-stimulating and protective functions for plants. She developed methods for obtaining blood plasma substitutes, sorbents, ion-exchangers suitable for cleaning food products from radionuclides, affinity chromatography of enzyme preparations, prevention and treatment of poisoning with heavy and radioactive metals, identified new areas for the use of pectin preparations and their derivatives, technology for the extraction of alkaloids from medicinal poppy, and created a continuous ultrasonic extractor. Her technology was used in a whole workshop for medical preparations at the Karabalta Alcohol and Sugar Plant.
For her many years of fruitful work, she was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, 8 medals of the USSR, 3 Certificates of Honor, and 2 Certificates from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Under her supervision, 16 candidate and 4 doctoral dissertations were defended.
She has published more than 300 publications, including 11 monographs, and is the author of more than 50 inventions, 25 of which have been implemented in production.

2. Method for processing cultural liquid in the production of amino acids. Author's certificate No. 652210, 1979, implemented at the Frunze Antibiotics Plant.
3. Method for obtaining a feed additive from waste in the production of amino acids. Author's certificate No. 1084003, 1984, implemented at the Frunze Antibiotics Plant.
4. Polyaramnogalacturonate of copper, possessing anti-tumor activity. Author's certificate No. 1822166, 1993.
5. Method for obtaining a substance that inhibits the growth of sarcoma. Author's certificate No. 2076706, 1997.
