Akbaev Abdi Alimkojoevich

Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honored Inventor of the Kyrgyz Republic, Laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz SSR in the field of science and technology.

Born in 1928. Graduated in 1948 from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute. Specialist in the field of physicochemical analysis and chemical technology, a leading specialist in helminthology.

He developed a new theory of synthesis of antihelminthic drugs, for example, nitrogen compounds in aqueous media with metal salts. These compounds form new complex compounds, while the structure of the new complex compounds changes, their physicochemical properties change, and their physiological activity is enhanced. Based on his research, 44 universal antihelminthic drugs and 55 molecular compounds were synthesized. He developed technical conditions for the application of four compounds used as antihelminthic and antimicrobial agents: GETAS, KMMN, KMN, anilinsulfonylsalicylate, which are used in animal husbandry for the treatment of foot rot in animals and contagious ecthyma in lambs. At the Frunze Biofactory, 24.1 tons of arsenic-acid KMMN preparation were implemented and produced, at the Ivanovo Biofactory — KMN preparation, and 45 chemical compounds were implemented and are produced by the Moscow Chemical Plant named after Voikov.

Author of more than 62 inventions. The drugs he developed are patented in foreign countries, he has 16 patents, including patents from the USA, England, Australia, Turkey, and New Zealand.

Main inventions implemented in production:

1. Method for obtaining copper carbonate salts. Author's certificate No. 196747, 1967, implemented at the Moscow Chemical Plant named after Voikov.
2. Method for obtaining hexamethylenetetramine acetic acid copper. Author's certificate No. 520365, 1976, implemented at the Moscow Chemical Plant named after Voikov.
3. Aniline salicylate, possessing antimicrobial and antihelminthic activity. Author's certificate No. 677279, 1979, implemented at the Moscow Chemical Plant named after Voikov.
4. Complex salt of hexamethylenetetramine salicylate, possessing antimicrobial activity. Author's certificate No. 548605, 1976, implemented at the Frunze Biofactory.
5. Method for the prevention and treatment of contagious ecthyma (lip form of necrobacillosis in lambs). Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 44, 1979.
