
Ashubaeva Zina Dzekshenovna
Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor. Born in 1935. Graduated from the Moscow Textile Institute. She began her career at the Institute of Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic as a laboratory assistant, junior researcher, senior researcher, and head of the laboratory. Since 1994, she has been the chief researcher at the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A prominent specialist in the field of chemistry and chemical technology of pectin substances. Under her supervision, 11 candidate dissertations have been prepared and defended.
Awarded the Gold Medal of the World Intellectual Property Organization (2003).
Published over 150 scientific works, including 7 monographs, and is the author of 32 inventions.

1. Method for obtaining cationite based on oxidized pectin acid. Patent No. 221683, 1968.
2. Method for obtaining a melamine derivative of pectin containing molecular iodine. Patent No. 648564, 1979.
3. Method for obtaining gelatin, gelatin-containing derivative of pectin substance. Patent No. 933663, 1982.
4. Method for obtaining pectin from apples. Patent No. 11845114, 1985.
5. Method for producing whipped confectionery product of the ‘Zephyr’ type. Patent No. 1797471, 1990.
