Dzhumagulov Olzhobai Dzhumakadyrovich
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Distinguished Health Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Born in 1954. In 1978, graduated from the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.
Currently, he is the head of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.
The main areas of scientific and practical activity are social and geographical ophthalmology, microsurgery of the eye, and laser surgery.
Under his supervision, 4 candidate dissertations have been defended.
He has published more than 100 scientific works, is the author of 6 inventions and 50 rationalization proposals.
Holder of the Gold Medal of the World Intellectual Property Organization (2008).

1. Method of surgical correction for macular dystrophy. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 450, 2001.
2. Method of laser stimulation of the retina for macular dystrophy. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 479, 2001.
3. Method for treating post-traumatic, partially resorbed cataract. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 498, 2001.
4. Betoptic-S for the treatment of complicated myopia. Patent under the responsibility of the applicant KR No. 633, 2004.
