
Dzhumaliev Artykbai Dzhumalievich
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Health Worker of the USSR, Honored Health Worker of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Born in 1928. Graduated from the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute in 1954.
Worked as an assistant, deputy dean of the medical faculty, and head of the department at KSMI.
Specialist in the field of biochemistry, physiology, and pathology of metabolism in high-altitude conditions. Conducted research on the peculiarities of the pathogenesis of radiation sickness and diabetes mellitus in the high-altitude conditions of Kyrgyzstan. The main focus of his scientific work: the peculiarities of metabolic-enzymatic changes and the mechanisms of their regulation in experimental diabetes mellitus in high-altitude conditions.
Awarded medals from the USSR and a certificate of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
Published more than 75 scientific works, including 2 monographs, 3 textbooks, and teaching aids, and is the author of 2 inventions.
