Dzhunbaev Akhmet Kurmanbekovich
Candidate of Technical Sciences. Born in 1947. In 1970, he graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic Institute. Since 2000, he has been the Deputy Director for Thermal Energy at the Kyrgyz Scientific and Technical Center for Energy "Energiya," which is the legal successor of KyrNIOE.
Many of his developments have been implemented in production with significant economic effect. The invention “Vertical Quadrangular Furnace for Co-firing Natural Gas and Coal Gasification Products and Method of Furnace Operation” has been implemented at the boilers of Chelyabinsk CHPP-2. The annual economic effect amounted to over 1 million rubles. The implementation of the invention allowed for the replacement of natural gas, used as the main fuel, with gasification products of Chelyabinsk coal without degrading the economic and environmental performance of the boilers. The invention “Vertical Prismatic Furnace” has been implemented at the BKZ-160 boilers of Bishkek CHPP. The implementation of this invention allowed for a 30% reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions in the flue gases evacuated from the boilers and increased their gross efficiency.
The economic effect for 1999 amounted to 930 thousand soms.
Currently, under his leadership, the technology for burning fuels for the boiler units of Bishkek CHPP has improved their efficiency and significantly reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
He has been awarded Honorary Certificates from the Ministry of Energy, Honorary Letters from various organizations and agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He has published over 120 scientific works, including 2 monographs. He holds more than 50 author certificates for inventions.
