Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, full member of the Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences of the Russian Federation, Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology.

Born in 1931. In 1950, he graduated from the Teacher Training Institute in the city of Przhevalsk, and in 1956, from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Kyrgyz State University.

He is known as a prominent scientist in the field of low-temperature plasma physics and atomic spectroscopy. The results of his research and the complex of experimental and theoretical methods he developed for diagnosing electric arc plasma allowed for the creation of fundamentally new designs of low-temperature plasma generators: single-channel, dual, and triple-jet plasma torches, which have found applications in science and technology. He conducted scientific research in the field of spectral analysis using plasma torches, plasma, and laser technologies for strengthening cutting tools and other machine parts.

He has been awarded three medals of the USSR, the medal of the Kyrgyz Republic “Dank”, Honorary Certificates from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions, and the Central Committee of the Komsomol, Honorary Certificates from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, and Honorary Certificates from the “Knowledge” Society and the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Kyrgyzstan.

Under his guidance, 18 candidates and 2 doctors of sciences have been trained.

He has published more than 300 scientific works, including 9 monographs, and is the author of more than 37 inventions.

Main inventions:

1. Method for exciting the spectrum of solutions. Author's certificate No. 274478, 1970.
2. Electric arc dual-jet plasma torch. Author's certificate No. 1072773, 1982.
