
Zhumaliev Kubanychbek Myrzabekovich
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, full member of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic, International Academy of Engineering Informatization, and Academy of Sciences of Higher Education.
Born in 1956. Graduated from the Ryazan Radio Engineering Institute in 1978.
Worked as a senior researcher at the Frunze Polytechnic Institute, head of the laboratory at the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, director of the Scientific and Engineering Center "Zhalyn" under the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, chairman of the State Committee for Science and New Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic, first deputy minister of education and science of the Kyrgyz Republic, first deputy State Secretary under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, head of the administration of the Jalal-Abad region of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Minister of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently works as the scientific supervisor of the "Optoelectronics" laboratory at the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of quantum electronics, holography, optical information processing, and electronic computing machines. Developed physical and technical means for holographic memory devices on photothermal media. Developed and implemented tape memory systems and microfiche systems, disk information storage devices, as well as equipment controlling the recording process on thermoplastics using computers.
Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of the Kyrgyz SSR in the field of science and technology (1984), laureate of the State Prize in the field of science and technology (2004), honored worker of transport of the Kyrgyz Republic (2003).
Under his supervision, 4 doctoral and 15 candidate dissertations have been defended.
Published more than 300 scientific works, including 12 monographs, and is the author of 15 inventions.

2. Method of recording superimposed polarized holograms on a disk storage device and holographic disk information storage device. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 134, 1996.
3. Method of deflecting a laser beam. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 177, 1997.
4. Material for road marking. Patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 695, 2004.
