Zurdinov Ashirali Zurdinovich

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Distinguished Health Worker of the USSR, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Distinguished Educator of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born in 1946. In 1968, he graduated from the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute. Currently, he is the head of the Department of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology at KGMA, and the Chairman of the Pharmacological Committee of the Department of Drug Provision of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

He is a specialist in the field of experimental and clinical pharmacology of stress protectors, actoprotectors, adaptogens, regulators, hemo- and immunopoiesis, and high-altitude medicine. His research focuses on the issues of safety and rational use of medications, plant immunomodulators and their potential applications, and pharmacological optimization of adaptation to hypoxia.

Under his supervision, 4 doctoral and 25 candidate dissertations have been defended.

He has published over 200 works, including 4 monographs, and is the author of 8 inventions.
