
Ivanov Konstantin Ivanovich
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honorary Academician of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR in the field of Science and Technology, Honored Inventor of the RSFSR.
Born in 1912. In 1939, he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold named after M.I. Kalinin.
He worked as an engineer at a mine, head of drilling and blasting departments, head of the "Ugolny Ruchy" mine, head of the mining department of the Norilsk Combine Administration, chief engineer of the Mining Administration, senior researcher at the VNIIGormet Institute, senior researcher at the "PROMNIIPROEKT" Institute, and head of the department at the Frunze Polytechnic Institute.
His scientific work is related to the extraction of ore grades, and the results have been implemented in the technology of ore extraction using deep blasting wells, drill rigs of a new type, and new drilling tools. He developed an industry standard for rope-profile drilling tools, which is used in the mines of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy.
He is a holder of the Orders of the Red Banner of Labor and the Badge of Honor, and the Miner’s Glory badges of 2nd and 3rd class.
During his pedagogical career, he trained 800 specialists in the mining field, and under his supervision, 7 candidate and 2 doctoral dissertations were defended.
He has published more than 211 scientific works and is the author of 13 inventions.
