
Imankbekov Seyitbek Tolomushevich
Candidate of Technical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Architecture and Construction of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Born in 1959. In 1982, he graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute.
Currently, he works as the director of the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute for Seismic Resistant Construction of the State Construction Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Main areas of scientific research: engineering structures; protection of engineering structures from seismic impacts; assessment of environmental risk; environmental monitoring; determining priority areas for the development of theoretical foundations of seismic-resistant construction; development of state programs to reduce potential damage from earthquakes; coordination of scientific research on seismic-resistant construction and environmental risk in the Kyrgyz Republic.
He underwent training in the USA, where he received certificates as an expert in environmental risk assessment in construction and as a user of GIS-based settlement mapping software.
Awarded with a Certificate of Honor from the Kyrgyz Republic (2006).
Published more than 119 scientific works, author of 17 inventions implemented in enterprises of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic.
