Ismankulov Almazbek Osmonalievich

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences.

Born in 1963. In 1986, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.

A student of the famous academician S.N. Fedorov, after successfully defending his dissertation, he continued his professional development in London. He is one of the first Kyrgyzstani individuals to receive specialized education abroad and attempt to implement it, demonstrating how possible it is to integrate modern global technologies into our developing society.

In 1993, he organized and headed the "Eye Microsurgery" hospital in Bishkek, which is one of the most modern in the world. Currently, the "Eye Microsurgery" hospital is closely integrated into the scientific community of European ophthalmology, patenting its ideas in Europe and America.

The results of his scientific research pertain to new methods of diagnosing diseases and treating vision, and are patented in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, and the USA.
