Kozhokmatov Satyndy Kozhokmatovich
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist and Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz Republic, Distinguished Health Worker of the USSR.
Born in 1935. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute in 1959.
Currently holds the position of Professor at the Department of Traumatology, Orthopedics, and Extreme Surgery of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.
He is the President of the Association of Traumatologists and Orthopedists of the Kyrgyz Republic. He has been awarded the highest category of traumatologist-orthopedist.
His research work is dedicated to the prevention of injuries, treatment of major joint injuries, as well as fractures and bone diseases using the Ilizarov apparatus.
Laureate of the I.K. Akhunbaev Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic award. For his scientific, practical, and organizational work, he has been awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the "For Valorous Labor" medal, a Certificate of Honor from the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR, and the "Labor Veteran" medal.
Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 10 candidate dissertations have been defended.
He has published more than 180 scientific works, including 5 monographs and 15 methodological recommendations for students and doctors, and is the author of 10 inventions and 18 rationalization proposals.

2. Device for arthrodesis of the hip joint. Patent of the Russian Federation No. 2029515, 1995.
3. Fixator for the femur. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 138, 1997.
4. Ointment for treating pin-related complications. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 299, 1997.
5. Device for conducting pins. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 394, 2000.
