
Kozhokmatova Gulya Satyndievna
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Born in 1958. In 1982, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.
Currently, she works as the head of the Department of Disaster Medicine, Traumatology, and Orthopedics at the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training.
Her research is dedicated to the treatment of polytrauma, gunshot injuries to the limbs, and their consequences.
Her studies focus on the treatment and prevention of the consequences of combat injuries to the limbs using biological methods to correct the course of restorative processes, and the development of disaster medicine in the mountainous conditions of Kyrgyzstan.
She is an honorary worker of health care in the Kyrgyz Republic and the deputy chairman of the Republican Union of Veterans of Afghanistan.
She has published more than 100 scientific works, including 2 monographs, and is the author of 10 inventions and 15 rationalization proposals.
