
Kozmin Gennady Vasilyevich
Candidate of Technical Sciences. Born in 1930. In 1953, he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanization of the Kazakh Agricultural Institute.
Until 2008, he worked in the laboratory "New Methods of Fuel Utilization" at the Energy Center of the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Fuel Resources of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyz Scientific and Technical Center for Energy "Energia").
The laboratory where he worked conducts research in the field of exploring new methods of fuel utilization, including the efficient use of coal in Kyrgyzstan, the development of high-quality technology for the comprehensive production of powdered and fine-grained activated carbons, and energy steam for the application of activated carbons in the treatment of industrial wastewater, chemical water treatment at thermal and nuclear power plants.
He was awarded the Order of "Friendship of Peoples," the badges of "Winner of Socialist Competition," and the gold medal of VDNH USSR.
He has published more than 60 scientific articles and is the author of 24 inventions.
