
Melnikov Boris Ilyich
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. Born in 1941. In 1969, he graduated from the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute named after K. Skryabin with a degree in hydraulic engineering.
He worked as the head of the department and dean of the faculty of hydromelioration and land management at the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute. He also worked in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
A specialist in automated water intake hydraulic structures in the foothill zone. All of his developments have been implemented in water management facilities in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Awarded the medal "For Long-Term Diligent Work".
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
He has published more than 110 scientific works, including 4 monographs, 19 educational and methodological manuals, over 10 scientific and methodological papers, and is the author of 32 inventions.
