Rozhinsky Mark Mikhailovich

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz SSR.

Born in 1926. In 1952, he graduated from the Odessa Medical Institute.

He worked as the head of the urgent care department at the Donetsk Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, head of the severe trauma department, and deputy director for science at the Novosibirsk Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics. He was the head of the Department of Traumatology, Orthopedics, and Military Field Surgery with a course in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at the Chita Medical Institute. Until 1990, he served as the head of the Department of Traumatology, Orthopedics, and Extreme Surgery at the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.

He was a leading specialist in the field of orthopedics and traumatology, an orthopedic traumatologist of the highest category.

A participant in the Great Patriotic War, he was awarded the Order of the "Badge of Honor," six medals, and five breast badges.
Under his guidance, 15 candidate dissertations were defended. He published more than 6 monographs and a large number of scientific papers, and is the author of more than 20 inventions.
