Finkel Elena Abramovna

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology, honored figure of science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Born in 1923. Graduated from the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute in 1946.

In her last years, she worked as the head of the microbiology laboratory at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Tuberculosis.

Specialist in the field of medical microbiology. Main areas of scientific activity: bacteriology and specific prevention of tuberculosis, use of the sublimation method to create bioconcentrates with antibacterial activity against the tuberculosis pathogen.

Awarded the Order of "Badge of Honor".

Under her supervision, 12 candidate and 4 doctoral dissertations were defended.

Published 300 scientific works, including 9 monographs, and is the author of 11 inventions.
