Frolov Igor Olegovich
Doctor of Technical Sciences. Born in 1952. Graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute with a degree in "Construction and Road Machines and Equipment," qualification of engineer-mechanic. Completed postgraduate studies at the Leningrad Engineering and Construction Institute.
In 1984, he defended his candidate dissertation, and in 2006, he defended his doctoral dissertation.
He works as the head of the "PT SDM and O" department at KGU STA.
Research areas: methodology for forming operational structural units of wheeled and tracked machines in extreme conditions, research and development of equipment for renewable energy sources, research in the field of new construction materials.
He has 142 published scientific works, including 1 monograph, 4 textbooks, and 28 patents and author certificates.

1. Method of semi-dry pressing of bricks. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 71, 1995.
2. Method of diffusion saturation of surfaces of metal products. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 490, 2001.
3. Device for affecting the flow of multiphase media (two variants). Patent under the responsibility of the applicant of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 627, 2003.
4. Method for diagnosing double axial-piston pumps. Patent under the responsibility of the applicant of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 921, 2006.
5. Self-cleaning filter for working fluids. Patent under the responsibility of the applicant of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 1017, 2008.
