Aliyev Osmonkul Egembaevich (1903-1938). Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Cholok-Ary, Kalininsky District, Chui Region.

Graduated from a Russian-native school (village of Merke, 1916), a real school (city of Dzhambul, 1919), and the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Institute of Education (city of Tashkent, 1922).

Worked in 1922-24 as the head of the organizational department of the Syr-Darya Regional Committee, then in the city of Oluy-Ata (Dzhambul).

In 1924, he was appointed secretary of the Organizational Bureau of the Regional Committee, and then the first secretary of the Regional Committee of the RKSM of Kyrgyzstan. He is known as the first editor of the magazines "Erkin-Too" and "Communist".

In 1927-30, he studied in Moscow at the Communist University named after E. Sverdlov.

In 1930-31, he served as the People's Commissar for Education of the republic. From 1931 to 1933, Aliyev worked as the secretary of the Regional Committee of the VKP(b) of Kyrgyzstan. From 1934 to 1935, he was the deputy head of the Central Asian Bureau of the VKP(b), and from 1935 to 1937, he served as the first secretary of the Osh Regional Committee. In 1937, he was reappointed as the People's Commissar for Education of the republic.

However, in 1938, following the tradition of that time, he was accused and arrested in his office. A year later, at the age of 35, he was executed as a counter-revolutionary - an enemy of the people. He was later rehabilitated.
