Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Otuuz-Uul, Aksy District, Issyk-Kul Region.
Graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Engineering (1971).
Worked as an engineer, senior researcher, head of the laboratory, director of the Institute of Automation of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, and since 1991 - President of the Institute of Automation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Academician of the Institute of Automation of the Kyrgyz Republic (1991), Member of the International Academy (1991). Specialist in the field of mechanics and machine engineering, theory of mechanisms and machines. Awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995). Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Kyrgyzstan (1977).
Honored Inventor of the Kyrgyz Republic (1983). Published more than 220 scientific works, including 8 monographs and 60 inventions.
Under his supervision, 3 doctoral and 20 candidate dissertations have been defended. Main works:
